Salento, Colombia is a charming town of around 9,000 people nestled in the Andes Mountains. The “zona cafeteria” or coffee zone of the country, is also home to the world’s tallest palm trees in the Cocora Valler. Colombia is one of the world’s largest producers of quality coffee and Salento is a perfect base to explore this stunning region.
